Polycarbonate earns the title: it contains UV stabilisers, resists heat, and has far greater tensile strength than other plastic sheeting. The same family of material shows up in car headlamps, medical components and safety lenses — it's built to take punishment.
Its non-crystalline structure makes it naturally transparent, or we can supply it tinted — clear, bronze or opal — to control glare while keeping the light.

IBR + polycarb combination
How we fit it
On its own, or married to aluminium IBR
We install polycarbonate as a complete roof, or integrate sheets into a fixed aluminium IBR roof — solid cover where you want deep shade, translucent panels where the light should fall.
It's a favourite trick for covered patios, exterior laundries and walkways that sit against the house: the polycarbonate panel bounces daylight into the adjacent room instead of stealing it.
