A rooftop that ignores the south-easter
A beachfront-block rooftop with everything up top: plunge pool, timber deck, roof lawn, and the sea on the horizon. Also up top: salt on every breeze and wind with a running start.
White adjustable louvres cover the dining end, with a charcoal flat section beyond — all baked aluminium and stainless steel, so the salt gets no purchase. Blades open to the view, angle against the glare off the water, and lock closed when the south-easter means it.
