Louvres over a working frontage
A city venue with a hedge-clad façade and original steel factory windows needed its outside seating to survive a Joburg summer. Anything clumsy would have wrecked the look the owners had built.
We fitted charcoal adjustable louvres overhead on a slim frame that sits quietly against the brickwork — open for morning light, angled against the midday glare, sealed when the afternoon storm arrives. The outside tables now work the whole season.
